Into the great wide open?

The 28th International Conference on Science, Technology and Innovation Indicators, 2024, will be held September 18-20, 2024 in Berlin.

The different notions of Openness and how these could be implemented at different levels of abstraction, governance of what is to be considered open and closed, and how to arrive at notions of openness that work both in the world of indicators and beyond will be focused upon at next year’s conference.

Conceptual issues as well as empirical evidence will be discussed This should help us to contribute to a better understanding of the opportunities, limits and risks associated with these notions.
